John Alden Watches were marketed in the USA by their parent company,
Eisenstaedt Manufacturing Company of St. Louis, founded by Morris and Samuel
Eisenstadt in 1853; an importer of watches with Swiss watch movements.

This is a MAN'S vintage watch. It is smaller than men's watches of today. It
is more decorative than many men's watches of today. Even so, it is a man's
watch. Women's watches of this time period were much tinier. Please look at the

John Alden (c. 1598–1687) who was a crew member on the historic 1620 voyage of
