Ring, Modern Silver Ring
Earthquakes are a fact of life here in So. California. The texture of this
ring is from the small cracks in the concrete my front patio. Only the crack
has been oxidized.
Width is approximately 8-9 mm or 3/8 inch wide
Every ring is handmade. All of my rings are one of a kind and unique works of
art. Each ring is unique and will be similar to the images but may vary
slightly in width and pattern. Each ring has its own character with organic
edges, undulating surfaces and textures. Each ring has been hand shaped, sanded
and fired in a kiln to burn off any organic material in the clay leaving only
pure metal. After firing I sand, polish and sealed with Renaissance Wax Polish.
My silver, bronze and copper rings only need a slight polishing with a
Sunshine polishing cloth. I include one with each order. It can also be
polished with any silver polish. My steel rings are sealed with jeweler's
varnish to protect the patina and prevent rust.
