Love this marquise-like shape of koroit boulder opal. Largely brown matrix,
there's a band of blue, violet and green opal slashing and weaving through the
middle of the stone--a perfect opportunity to adorn the lower edge of the ring
with a slew of gemstones. Brown tourmaline, lapis lazuli, apatite, amethyst and
green tourmaline rondelles are wrapped in 18k gold headpins to form a lively
fringe. The silver has been oxidized to a near black finish and the simple
substantial wire band measures a US size 8 1/2.
